Worcestershire - Temporary Road and Footpath Closures for Maintenance Works
What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(B4184 Birchfield Road, Bentley Pauncefoot) and (Exit Slip Lane from A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Westbound)) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4184 Birchfield Road from its junction with B4184 Foxlydiate Roundabout to its junction with C2137 Birchfield Road and exit slip lane from A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Westbound) to B4184 Birchfield Road.
Reason: Bridgeworks maintenance by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
No access for emergency vehicles, diversion route needs to be used.
Alternative route:
- Diversion Eastbound: B4184 Birchfield Road (part), A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Eastbound), B4504 Windmill Drive, B4504 Middlepiece Drive Roundabout, B4504 Windmill Drive, A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Westbound).
- Diversion Westbound: A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Westbound), A38 Slideslow Farm Roundabout, A448 Bromsgrove Highway (Eastbound), B4184 Birchfield Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 7 nights (20:00–06:00).
Commencing: 2 December 2024.
(Link Footpath F30606 Banners Lane (opposite number 66), Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F30606 Banners Lane (opposite number 66) from its junction with U30034 Banners Lane for a distance of 93 metres in a south easterly direction to outside number 84.
Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route:
U30034 Banners Lane, Link Footpath F30607 Banner Lane (between numbers 59 & 61), U30034 Banners Lane, un-named footpath, Link Footpath F30606 Banners Lane (opposite number 66) (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months.
Anticipated duration: 8 days between 2 December 2024 and 13 December 2024.
(C2060 Foxlydiate Lane, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2060 Foxlydiate Lane from its junction with St. Andrews Road (NSG Ref. 04703074) to its junction with U30448 Grazing Lane.
Reason: Remedial works to footway by Doocey Group Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2060 Foxlydiate Lane (part), C2137 Birchfield Road, U30417 Heathfield Road, C2060 Church Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months.
Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs).
Commencing: 2 December 2024.
