Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on 28 November 2024:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STOKE GOLDINGTON ROAD, RAVENSTONE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (reference: TTRO-2061)
In order to enable City Fibre to carry out maintenance works between 11th December 2024 and 17th December 2024 (Between 8:00am and 6:00pm).
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily close part of:
Stoke Goldington Road, Ravenstone – From its junction with Mount Pleasant to its junction with Common Street.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Common Street, Ravenstone Mill Road, Ravenstone Mill Road to Weston Underwood, Horton Road (and vice versa).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 26th November 2024, made the following temporary traffic regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BURNMOOR CLOSE, BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
(reference: TTRO-2066)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road in order to allow Engcon to carry out works to install storm and foul drainage in the carriageway.
2nd December – 20th December 2024 and 6th January - 13th January 2025 (24 Hours)
Burnmoor Close, Bletchley – Its entire length
Whilst the above length of road is closed there will be no alternative route due the road being a cul-de-sac however access will be provided for residents.
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY OFP01, OLD FARM PARK) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
(reference: TTRO-1994)
The effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from entering or proceeding along the following length of redway to allow Strand Build to safely undertake structural works to a property on Morley Crescent.
2nd December 2024 – 13th January 2025 (24 hours a day)
Redway OFP01, Old Farm Park – from a point level of the eastern border of number 16 Morely Crescent for a distance of 35 metres in a westerly direction.
Whilst the above length of redway is closed the alternative route will be Redway OFP01 on the opposite side of the carriageway.
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (TIMBOLD DRIVE (PART), KENTS HILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (No.3) (reference: TTRO-2084)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following part of road to allow O2 to safely undertake telecoms upgrade works.
2nd – 15th December 2024 (21:00 – 06:00)
Timbold Drive, Kents Hill – from its junction of the exit for Kents Hill Park School for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction.
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route will be via Durgate, Standing Way, Brickhill Street and Hawkhurst Gate (and vice versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MILLERS WAY V5 TO V6, STACEY BUSHES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (reference: TTRO-2056)
The effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road in order to allow MBNL to carry out Rigging Works and installation of telecoms pole in preparation for telecoms equipment. with use of a crane.
2nd December 2024 – 6th December 2024 (Between 9:30am and 4:30pm each day)
Millers Way V5 to V6, Stacey Bushes – From its junction with McConnell Drive to its junction with White Alder.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via the Millers Way, Great Monks Street, Monks Way and Grafton Street (and vice versa).
