What is happening?

The East Riding Of yorkshire Council 

Road traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (I) Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Dunflat Road, Bentley 

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Dunflat Road, Bentley (between the A164 and the junction with Dunflat Lane) commencing Wednesday 18 December 2024 (between 19.00 hours and 05.00 hours) (night closure) to carry out road crossing drainage works safely. 

The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety o the public. 

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 December 2024. 

The alternative route for traffic affected by this closure will be via Bentley Lane, Mill Lane, Killingwoldgraves Lane,A I 079 and AI 64. 

The road will remain open for emergency services, residents access and pedestrians.
