(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF QUICKLEY LANE AND THE SERVICE ROAD FRONTING NOS.39-77 QUICKLEY LANE, CHORLEYWOOD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:
that length of Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Hillside Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 110m.
An alternative route will be via Hillside Road, Shire Lane, Heronsgate Road and Quickley Lane.
the service road fronting Nos.39-77 Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with Quickley Lane south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 25m.
An alternative route will be via Quickley Lane, Rendlesham Way and the service road fronting Nos.39-77 Quickley Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 12 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF WINDMILL LANE, BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Windmill Lane, Bushey Heath from its junction with A4140 High Road north eastwards to its junction with Clay Lane, a distance of approximately 704m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A4140 High Road, A411 (High Road/Elstree Road) and Clay Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LOUDWATER LANE, LOUDWATER AND PENROSE AVENUE, CARPENDERS PARK) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:
that length of Loudwater Lane, Loudwater from its junction with Sarratt Lane north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with The Green, a distance of approximately 1584m.
An alternative route will be via Loudwater Lane, A404 Chorleywood Road, A412 (Park Road/Scots Hill) and The Green.
that length of Penrose Avenue, Carpenders Park from its junction with Greenfield Avenue north eastwards, south eastwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 167m.
An alternative route will be via Greenfield Avenue, Alva Way and Penrose Avenue.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS ON A411 HEMPSTEAD ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of A411 Hempstead Road, Watford from its junction with Grove Mill Lane north westwards to its junction with the A41 North Western Avenue/A41 Hempstead Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 856m (“the Road”), when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:
the Pine Grove roundabout, Bushey from its junction with Pinfold Road clockwise for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However, vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
that length of Pinfold Road, Bushey from its junction with the Pine Grove roundabout south eastwards to its junction with Park Avenue, a distance of approximately 169m.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However, vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Harefield Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with Sherfield Avenue south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 418m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Harefield Road, A404 (Church Street/Riverside Drive), A412 (Uxbridge Road/Denham Way), Chalfont Lane, Old Uxbridge Road, Coppermill Lane, Park Road, Rickmansworth Road and Harefield Road,
or via Harefield Road, Rickmansworth Road, Park Road, Coppermill Lane, Old Uxbridge Road, Chalfont Lane, A412 (Denham Way/Uxbridge Road), A404 (Riverside Drive/Church Street/London Road), the A404 Riverside Drive/A4145 Moor Lane roundabout, A404 London Road and Harefield Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Westbury Road, Northwood from its junction with Bourne End Road south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with South Approach, a distance of approximately 156m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However, vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access, and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:
that length of Valley Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with Berry Lane north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with The Clump, a distance of approximately 310m.
An alternative route will be via Berry Lane, Dog Kennel Lane, A404 (Rickmansworth Road/Chorleywood Road) and The Clump.
that length of Valley Road, Rickmansworth from its junction with The Drive north westwards for a distance of approximately 450m.
An alternative route will be via The Drive, The Clump and Valley Road.
that length of Old House Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with Bucks Hill north eastwards, south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with Langleybury Lane, a distance of approximately 1700m.
An alternative route will be via Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane, Fir Tree Hill and Langleybury Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MARLBOROUGH ROAD, WATFORD) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Marlborough Road, Watford from its junction with A411 Exchange Road south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 32m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A411 Exchange Road, Upton Road, A4178 Cassio Road and Marlborough Road.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 25 November 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SPRINGFIELD, BUSHEY HEATH) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Springfield, Bushey Heath from a point in line with the north eastern boundary of No.28 Springfield south westwards for a distance of approximately 38m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However, vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 January 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
