D137 Post Office Road - Road Closed To Vehicular Traffic For Footway Reconstruction Works

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
D137 POST OFFICE ROAD, BADDESLEY ENSOR
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works, closed 08.00hrs-17.00hrs, weekdays only.
Order Commences: 2 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Keys Hill, The Common, Newlands Road and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only.

D3 HAMES LANE, NEWTON REGIS
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Main Road.
Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works, 08.00hrs-17.00hrs.
Order Commences: 2 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 3 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion route.

KINGSBURY ROAD, CURDWORTH
Order Effect: A 30mph speed restriction will be imposed on Kingsbury Road, Curdworth from M42 J9 exit on to A4097 Kingsbury Road to A4097 Kingsbury Road lay by – 430m Northeast from M42 J9.
Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users and of the contractors working on or near to the carriageway.
Order Commences: 5 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 13 December 2024.

PUBLIC FOOTPATH M386 IN THE PARISH OF SHUSTOKE
Order Effect: Public Footpath closed to ALL traffic at Grid Reference X423790 Y291327.
Reason for Order: To avoid the likelihood of danger to the public because of a bridge along its route being in disrepair and in need of replacement.
Order Commences: 30 May 2024 for up to 6 months. However, the Secretary of State in exercise of his powers under Section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has directed that the Order shall continue in force until 29 November 2025, or until works are completed, whichever is the earlier (unless the Secretary of State issues a further direction).

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A446 LICHFIELD ROAD, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Turning left from A446 Lichfield Road, Coleshill into the HS2 Works Access between Gorsey Lane and Watton Lane will be prohibited.
Reason for Order: For the safety of all road users. Order Commences: 18 December 2024 for up to 18 months.

BIRMINGHAM ROAD, COLESHILL ROAD CLOSURE
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Major, non-excavation works.
Cherry picker to access telecoms mast for testing / maintenance works.
Order Commences: 18 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 19 December 2024.
Access & Diversion: Birmingham Road, Lichfield Road, Stonebridge Road, Coventry Road, Coleshill Heath Road, Chester Road, and vice versa.

HAWKESWELL LANE, COLESHILL
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To safely enable pole testing works.
Order Commences: 16 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 16 December 2024
Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion.
Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals, Tel: 03700 500 792.
HOGGRILLS END LANE, NETHER WHITACRE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to lay gas services from main located nearside grass verge.
Order Commences: 16 December 2024 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 18 December 2024
Access & Diversion: Hoggrills End Lane, Old House Farm Lane, Old Farm Lane, Butchers Lane, Bakehouse Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Headway Traffic Management, Tel: 01564 820 118.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PART OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY M463 WISHAW) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024
The above Order, made on 4 June 2024 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will DIVERT that section of Public Bridleway M463 from Point A (GR SP 1720 9528) to point B (GR SP 1691 9568) a total distance of approx 560 m as shown on the Order Plan. TO A LINE from Point C (GR SP 1691 9517) running generally northeast to Point D (GR SP 1692 9538) before continuing generally north to point E (GR SP 1694 9553), and rejoining the bridleway at point B (GR SP 1691 9568) a total distance of approx 540 m as shown on the Order Plan. The new route shall have a width of 4m.
A copy of the Order and the Order Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Warwickshire County Council, Shire Hall, Market Square, Warwick CV34 4SA from 8am-5.30pm on weekdays, (5pm Fridays) and 9am-4pm Saturdays.
A copy of the Order and Order Plan may be bought there at the price of £5.77.
Copies may also be inspected at the offices of the North Warwickshire Borough Council, The Council House, South Street, Atherstone, CV9 1BD between 8.50am and 5.15pm weekdays and online at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/pathorders.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing (or email) to the Strategic Director for Communities, P O Box 43, Shire Hall, Warwick CV34 4SX, OR (paths@ warwickshire.gov.uk) not later than 3 January 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Representations or objections may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making representations or objections would also be made publicly available.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Warwickshire County Council may confirm the Order as unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
