Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2023
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 21st November 2023 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 6 in the Parish of St Wenn between grid references SW 95994:66128 to SW 96082:66153. The Order which commenced on the 22nd November 2023 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 21st November 2025. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 21st November 2024 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to missing footbridge and collapsing boardwalk. Nothing in this Order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 21st October 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Hensbarrow Hill, Roche from junction with New Road to junction with Access Road To Littlejohns Pit.
The Order which commenced on the 4th November 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 20th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is necessary for works to enable permanent tie of new road layout. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Higher Fraddon. This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th December 2024 to 17th December 2024.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Access From Chapel Road To Piggery, Higher Fraddon from close to Ivy Cottage to grid reference SW 91682:58362. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.
This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th December 2024 to 11th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Crantock. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th December 2024 for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Beach Road, Crantock between the junctions of Gustory Road and Langurroc Road. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Rejerrah. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th December 2024 for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only. Public right of way affected - Bridleway 114, Perranzabuloe between grid reference SW79614 55849 and the property named Saddle Rock Farm.

This prohibition is necessary for permanent reinstatement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th December 2024 to 11th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 25th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Mevagissey. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th December 2024 to 13th December 2024.
