Common Lane, Sutton-On-The-Hill - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Carriageway Patching
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE COMMON LANE, SUTTON-ON-THE-HILL
WHEN: 16 December to 20 December 2024.
WHERE: Common Lane, Sutton-on-the-Hill between its Jct. with Schoolpiece Lane and its Jct. with Marlpit Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Marlpit Lane, Dish Lane, Sutton Lane, Main Street, Uttoxeter Road, Derby Road, Limbersitch Lane, Schoolpiece Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
