Side Road Closures

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.

ROADS CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR UTILITY WORKS.

The Following Junctions are to be closed to allow works on the Warwick Road.

Kempsford Gardens - Cycle Lane to be suspended 20 meters from the junction of Warwick Road.

- Cyclists are to be diverted via Kempsford Road, Old Brompton Road, Warwick Road.

Eardley Crescent, - Diverted traffic to use Eardley Crescent, Old Brompton Road, Warwick Road.

Philbeach Gardens - Southern Exit, - Diverted traffic to use Philbeach Gardens in the other direction, Warwick Road, West Cromwell Road, Earl’s Court Road, Trebovir Road, Warwick Road.

Philbeach Gardens - Northern Entrance, - Diverted traffic to use, Warwick Road, West Cromwell Road, Earl’s Court Road, Trebovir Road, Warwick Road.

Philbeach Gardens Southern Exit in the other direction.

Earl’s Court Square - Exit, - Diverted traffic to use, Earl’s Court Square, Earl’s Court Road, Trebovir Road, Warwick Road.

Penywern Road, - Diverted traffic to use Penywern Road, Earl’s Court Road, Old Brompton Road, Warwick Road.

Trebovir Road, - Diverted traffic to use Trebovir Road, Earl’s Court Road, Old Brompton Road, Warwick Road.

Nevern Square - Southern Entrance, - Diverted traffic to use Warwick Road, Longridge Road, Nevern Road, Nevern Square various legs.

Nevern Square - Northern Exit, - Diverted traffic to use Nevern Square various legs, Trebovir Road.

Longridge Road, - Warwick Road, West Cromwell Road, Earl’s Court Road, Nevern Place, Templeton Place, Longridge Road.

The one-way working of the following roads are to be suspended for the duration of the Junction works, Eardley Crescent, Philbeach Gardens, Penywern Road, Trebovir Road, Nevern Square, Longridge Road.

To be closed from 08.00hrs on Wednesday 11th December 2024 until 18.00hrs on Thursday 30th January 2025, or until the works are completed.

Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.

Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
