1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council on 25th November 2024 made the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:
(a) introduce an electric vehicle rapid recharging bay outside the Central Pentecostal Church, Dudley House, No. 141 Harrow Road, replacing 6 metres of pay-byphone parking (1 bay); and
(b) introduce 8.3 metres of double yellow “at any time” waiting restrictions at the south-western extremity of the cul-de-sac arm of Harrow Road, outside the Central Pentecostal Church, Dudley House, No. 141 Harrow Road.
3. The recharging bay will operate “at any time”, with a maximum stay of one hour between 8.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. throughout the week. Vehicles will not be permitted to return on the same day. Please note the rapid charger will be operated on a “Pay As you Go” basis by ESB. Further information on pricing is available at https://www.esbenergy.co.uk/ev.
4. The Orders, which will come into force on 29th November 2024, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until 6th January 2025 at https:// westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). 5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
