PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(THIRD AVENUE & RAYNOR ROAD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:
· Third Avenue closed its entire length in both directions.
· Raynor Road closed its entire length in both directions.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 6 December 2024 until
13 December 2024, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00.
The diversion routes are: Showell Circus, First Avenue, Park Lane and Cannock Road or Cannock Road, Old Fallings Lane, Sandy Lane, Bushbury Lane,
Kempthorne Avenue and Showell Circus.
The Order is required to facilitate carriageway lining works by City of Wolverhampton Council.
