What is happening?

ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

  1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Order:

    The Kingston upon Thames (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. ) Order 202 under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

  2. The general effect of the Order would be to:

(a) Introduce/extend waiting restrictions operating ‘at any time’ (double yellow lines) in:

(i) Renfrew Road, Kingston adjacent to White Rose Cottage; and

(ii) Warren Road, Kingston across the entrance to Coombe Neville.

(b) Introduce waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) operating Monday to Friday between 8am and 9.30am and 2.30pm and 4.30pm in:

(i) Stoke Road, Kingston outside Penshurst and Coombe Walls;

(ii) Warren Road, Kingston on its south-western side between its junctions with Ballard Close and George Road; and at its junction with Ballard Close, Kingston.

  • Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and plans showing the location and the effect of the proposal may be inspected as follows:
  • (c) online at https://www.kingston.gov.uk/tmos-open-statutory-consultation; selecting reference MapKing0101 – Coombe Estate, Kingston

    (d) Council libraries; and

    (e) copies of the made Order and plans can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday); or

    (f) emailing tmo@kingston.gov.uk (please quote ref MapKing0101).
