C144 Maybury Hill and D3710 Park Road, Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Surrey County Council propose to make the above- mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in:-

1. That length of C144 Maybury Hill, Woking that extends from its junction with B382 Old Woking Road, to its junction with D3731 College Road. Alternative route:- College Road, East Hill and Old Woking Road.

2. The entire length of D3710 Park Road, Woking. Alternative route:- Pembroke Road. This Traffic Order is required to enable Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement and/or connection and/or maintenance works at the southern end of the temporary closure between Old Woking Road and “No.2 Cranley Court”. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am and 7pm within 2 months of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 January 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access to affected residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above.
