NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Middlewich Road/Moss Lane, Cranage
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.
Prohibition of traffic -
Middlewich Road, Cranage - For the full extent.
Moss Lane, Cranage - For the full extent.

This order will come into operation on Monday 9 December 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 10 January 2025. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
Public Footpath No. 21 (part) Parish of Middlewich
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section 15 (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the Order being extended and continuing in force until 13th January 2026. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That Public footpath No.21 (part of) in the parish of Middlewich, which commences at the junction of Cledford Lane, at OS grid reference SJ7136 6503, and continues in a North Westerly direction, to OS grid reference SJ7126 6518. The closure is necessary to protect the public from the danger posed from vehicle movements while works are carried out on the nearby lagoons. An alternative route is available on site.
