What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
Arnold Road, Gravesend, DA12 5QP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Arnold Road, Gravesend, on or after 2nd December 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Hollybush Road.
The alternative route is via Arnold Road, Lamorna Avenue, Hollybush Road and vice versa.
Lynton Road South, Gravesend, DA11 0LW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lynton Road South, Gravesend, on or after 16th December 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 47 and 49.
The alternative route is via Lynton Road South, Dashwood Road, B261 Old Road West and vice versa.
Wellington Street, Gravesend, DA12 1HQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Wellington Street, Gravesend, on or after 16th December 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 89.
The alternative route is via Waterloo Street, Parrock Street and vice versa.
Whitehill Lane, Gravesend, DA12 5RF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Whitehill Lane, Gravesend, on or after 2nd December 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 83.
The alternative route is via Whitehill Lane, Valley Drive, B261 Old Road East, Whitehill Road and vice versa.
