What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE C180 WATERMOOR ROAD (CIRENCESTER TOWN) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C180 Watermoor Road from its junction with The Avenue to outside the property known as ‘Paternoster House’ for a distance of approximately 83 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for the installation of Overhead Cable works.
The said road is expected to be closed each day between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs from 11th December 2024 until 13th December 2024 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later. Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency access, and pedestrian access to adjacent properties, will be maintained.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017 (VARIOUS ROADS AROUND VARIOUS SCHOOLS WITHIN THE CITY OF GLOUCESTER, PARISH OF CAM & TOWN OF CIRENCESTER) (GLOUCESTER DISTRICT, STROUD DISTRICT & COTSWOLD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 of Part I and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed restrictions detailed in The Schedule below on various roads outside Longlevens Junior School, Widden Primary School, Cam Woodfield Junior School and Stratton Primary School, Gloucestershire.
