What is happening?

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C227 BOX ROAD (CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C227 Box Road, from outside the property known as ‘No. 3’ to outside the property known as ‘No. 9’ for a distance of approximately 130 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for manhole repair and replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 14:30hrs on 25th November 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401613 LONGASTON LANE (SLIMBRIDGE PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401613 Longaston Lane, from outside the property known as ‘Hillview’ to outside the property known as ‘The Bungalow’, for a distance of approximately 100 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 29th November 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (DURSLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

The said roads are expected to be closed on a rolling programme commencing 16th December 2024, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures taking effect. This intended Order may permit the closure of the said roads in any order, or simultaneously as required, and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 18th December 2024.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C327 High Street Road, from outside the Market Place to outside the property known as ‘No. 5’, for a distance of approximately 40 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for Gas Mains replacement works.

(VARIOUS ROADS AROUND VARIOUS SCHOOLS WITHIN THE CITY OF GLOUCESTER, PARISH OF CAM & TOWN OF CIRENCESTER) (GLOUCESTER DISTRICT, STROUD DISTRICT & COTSWOLD DISTRICT) (VARIATION) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 of Part I and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed restrictions detailed in the Schedule below on various roads outside Longlevens Junior School, Widden Primary School, Cam Woodfield Junior School and Stratton Primary School, Gloucestershire.
