(C2069 Sinton Green, Grimley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2069 Sinton Green from its junction with U64007 Sinton Green to its junction with C2069 Worlds End.
Reason: Water connection installation by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2069 Worlds End, C2068 Moseley Road, A443 Main Road, C2256 Dark Lane, C2256 Sinton Green, C2069 Sinton Green (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 18 December 2024.
(U54151 Happy Land West, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U54151 Happy Land West from its junction with U54147 Lambert Road to its junction with A44 Bromyard Road.
Reason: Boundary box renewal by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U54151 Happy Land West (part), U54147 Lambert Road, U54149 Knight Street, A44 Bromyard Road, U54151 Happy Land West (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24 hrs).
Commencing: 12 December 2024.
(U50339 Southall Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U50339 Southall Avenue from its junction with A449 Ombersley Road to its junction with U50342 Seymour Avenue.
Reason: Gas main replacement by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50319 Northwick Road, U50345 Pinkett Street, A449 Ombersley Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 12 days (24 hrs).
Commencing: 25 November 2024.
(Link Footpath F50282 Woodbridge Close (between No 34 & 36), St. Peter The Great County) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50282 Woodbridge Close (between No 34 & 36) from its junction with U52215 Woodbridge Close to its junction with C2287 St Peters Drive.
Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2287 St Peters Drive, Link Footpath F50291 Aldersley Close (between No 13 & 14), Link Footpath F50298 Sheringham Road (side No. 22), Link Footpath F50297 Sheringham Road (side No. 29), Link Footpath F50284 Blakeney Close (between 5 & 6), U52215 Woodbridge Close and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.

(C2236 Wichenford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2236 Wichenford from its junction with U64614 Poplar Road to its junction with C2068 Wichenford.
Reason: Safe working for overhead fibre cabling work by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2236 Wichenford (part), C2068 Wichenford, C2068 Monkwood Green, C2068 Moseley Road, A443 Main Road, C2231 Broadheath Lane, C2231 Hallow Lane, B4204 Martley Road, B4204 Sailors Bank to Kenswick, B4204 Wichenford, B4204 Castle Hill, C2236 Wichenford (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

(C2075 Hindlip Lane, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2075 Hindlip Lane from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with Spring Bank (NSG Ref. 45000977).
Reason: Tree maintenance by Worcester City Council.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Road, A4536 Hurst Lane, A4536 Blackpole Road, C2075 Hindlip Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 13 December 2024.

(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2024
[Prohibition of Waiting on Bromwich Road and Whites Road, Worcester]
Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Worcester:
Bromwich Road (West side): from its junction with Whites Road for a distance of 33 metres in a northerly direction and 27 metres in a south westerly direction; and from a point 15 metres southwest of its junction with Bromwich Road Service Road (north junction) for a distance of 14 metres in a south westerly direction.
Whites Road (North side): from its junction with Bromwich Road for a distance of 32 metres in a westerly direction;
(South side): from its junction with Bromwich Road for a distance of 25 metres in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

Lambert Road (North side): from a point 12 metres west of its junction with Comer Road for a distance of 15 metres in a westerly direction.
Revocation of Restriction of Waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am–5pm
Lambert Road (North side): from its junction with Bozward Street for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction.
Revocation of Limited Waiting 45 Mins No Return Within 2 Hours Mon-Fri 8.30am–5pm

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Worcester:
Lavender Road (Southwest side): from a point 64 metres northwest of the centrepoint of its junction with Ivy Street for a distance of 27 metres; then from a point 91 metres from the same centrepoint for a distance of 40 metres in a north westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

(A38 Foregate Street, Worcester) (Bus Lane) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (The Foregate and Foregate Street, Worcester) (Bus Lane) Order 1977 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Order made: to temporarily suspend that part of the Bus Lane on A38 Foregate Street from its junction with A38 St Mary’s Street to its junction with A38 St Nicholas Street and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (The Foregate and Foregate Street, Worcester) (Bus Lane) Order 1977 to facilitate normal traffic in a southerly direction for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Replacement electricity cable by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 St Mary’s Street, A38 Sansome Walk, A38 Sansome Place, A38 St. Nicholas Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months continuing from 18 November 2024. Anticipated duration: 5 days
