Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
(U10511 Wyre Hill, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U10511 Wyre Hill from its junction with U10513 Forest Close to its junction with U10512 Merricks Lane.
Reason: Duct Clearance by OCU Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U10512 Merricks Lane, B4190 Winbrook, B4190 Welch Gate, U10511 Sandy Bank, U10511 Wyre Hill (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months Anticipated duration: 2 days (24hrs). Commencing: 16 December 2024.
(A450 Worcester Road, Broome) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of A450 Worcester Road from its junction with U13403 Broome Lane to its junction with C2061 Thicknall Lane.
Reason: New customer connection by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A450 Worcester Road (part), A456 Kidderminster Road South, A456 Birmingham Road, A449 Chester Road North, A448 Comberton Hill, A448 Bromsgrove Road, A450 Worcester Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 November 2024.
(A442 Droitwich Road, Hartlebury) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A442 Droitwich Road from its junction with A449 Worcester Road for a distance of 520 metres in a southeasterly direction.
Reason: Water connection installation by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion for vehicles lower than 13’ 6”: A449 Worcester Road, A450 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road (part) and vice versa. Diversion for all other vehicles: A449 Worcester Road, A449 Chester Road South, A448 Comberton Road, A448 Bromsgrove Road, A450 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24 hours). Commencing: 18 December 2024.
(U12206 St Johns Avenue, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U12206 St Johns Avenue from its junction with C2129 Habberley Road to its junction with U12247 Cheshire Grove.
Reason: Replacement manhole cover by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2129 Habberley Road, A4535 Blakebrook, U12206 St. Johns Avenue (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 22 November 2024.
(U10523 Waterloo Road & U10516 Hales Park, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U10523 Waterloo Road from its junction with U10516 Hales Park for a distance of 30 metres in a westerly direction. Closure 2: U10516 Hales Park from its junction with U10520 Elton Road to its junction with U10522 Early River Place.
Reason: Utility works by O’Connor Utilities Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U10520 Elton Road, U10516 Hales Park (part), U10511 Wyre Hill, U10523 Waterloo Road (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 November 2024.
(C2020 Arley Lane, Upper Arley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2020 Arley Lane from its junction with A442 Bridgnorth Road to its junction with C2133 Lion Lane.
Reason: Replacement water main by Coffey Construction.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Access for emergency services not possible, diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: C2020 Arley Lane (part), C2133 Lion Lane, A442 Bridgnorth Road, C2020 Arley Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 November 2024.
(C2132 Rectory Lane, Rock) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2132 Rectory Lane from its junction with U10010 Timberdyne Close to its junction with A456 Tenbury Road.
Reason: Replace concrete bollards and railings by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2132 Rectory Lane (part), A456 Tenbury Road, B4202 Worcester Road, C2189 Porchbrook, C2132 Rectory Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 25 November 2024.
(U10501 Park Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U10501 Park Lane from its junction with U10509 Birch Tree Road to its junction with B4190 Load Street.
Reason: Utility work by O’Connor Utilities Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4190 Load Street, B4190 Welch Gate, U10511 Sandy Bank, U10511 Wyre Hill, U10509 Birch Tree Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 18 December 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(C2182 Lea Lane, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2182 Lea Lane from its junction with C2013 Castle Road to its junction with B4189 Wolverley Road.
Reason: Road impassable due to landslide by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
No access to emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: C2182 Castle Road, C2283 Castle Road, A449 Wolverhampton Road, B4189 Wolverley Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 5 years until the works are completed or a maximum of 1827 days, whichever is sooner. Commencing from 7 November 2024 (24hrs).
