(COED DDU ROAD, CRYNANT) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council intend in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from driving on the length of road set out in the Schedule below whilst the Order is in force. During such periods as are indicated by traffic signs informing the public that the road is closed.
The Order is necessary to enable Welsh Water to undertake Civil engineering works in the road and for the Highway Section to carry out any subsequent resurfacing works.
This Order will come into force on the 6th January 2025 and shall continue in force for 18 months, or until the works are completed whichever is the sooner. It is envisaged the works will take 3 days to complete.
SCHEDULE
Coed Ddu Road will be closed at a point approximately 420m north of its junction with the A4109 Main Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a northerly direction along its length.
There is not alternative route for vehicular traffic.
Access for emergency services and the public will be maintained.
