MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER_ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000141208393: The City of Manchester (Wellington Road, Old Moat Ward)(Temporary Suspension of Parking ) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to suspend the operation of the designated parking place on Wellington Road from a point 6 metres south of the southerly point of the vehicular access to Withington Library for a distance of 21 metres in a southerly direction.
The Council is satisfied that the suspension is necessary in order to facilitate a site compound. It is expected that the work will be in progress between 9th December 2024 and 31st March 2025. The Order shall come into operation on 9th December 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
