TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 490442 ALDRIDGE CLOSE ROAD (ST PAULS WARD) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490442 Aldridge Close Road from its junction with Folly Lane to outside the property known as ’12 Aldridge Lane’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for Fibre installation works.

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ON STREET PARKING ORDER 2017
(VARIOUS ROADS IN THE PIRTON FIELDS DEVELOPMENT) (PARISH OF CHURCHDOWN) (TEWKESBURY BOROUGH) (VARIATION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which would vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) by introducing the proposed waiting restrictions detailed in the Schedule below on various roads in the Pirton Fields development, Churchdown, Gloucestershire.

The lengths of roads fall within the Parish of Churchdown within the Tewkesbury Borough in the County of Gloucestershire.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 490274 FAIRVIEW STREET (ALL SAINTS WARD) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 490274 Fairview Street from its junction with Glenfall Street to its junction with Union Street for a distance of approximately 250 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for streetlight repair and replacement works.
The said road is expected to be closed each day between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs from 10th December 2024 until 11th December 2024 only or until the works are completed.

TEMPORARY SPEED AND WEIGHT RESTRICTION C220 COLD POOL LANE (BADGEWORTH PARISH) TEWKESBURY BOROUCH
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily restrict part of the C220 Cold Pool Lane to a speed limit of 30mph and to a 7.5 tonne weight restriction (with the exception of buses and HVG’s making deliveries to and/or accessing any properties along this route) from its junction with Badgeworth Lane to its junction with Grovefield Way for a distance of approximately 1600 metres.
The reason for the closure is for public safety reasons as Cold Pool Lane is currently being used as a diversion route whilst Badgeworth Lane Rail Bridge is closed following a landslip. Cold Pool Lane is narrow in places and safety is paramount.
The road was originally restricted for 5 days by Urgent Notice commencing 11th November 2024. However, the issues are still ongoing so it is necessary to extend the restrictions by an Order which can authorise the restrictions of the road for up to eighteen months from the date of the original Notice. The said road is expected to be restricted from 16th November 2024 and until the issues have been resolved.
