PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING FEATURES FOR CROSBY AVENUE - WALKDEN SOUTH
Notice is hereby given that Salford City Council proposes to construct road humps in the lengths of road specified in the Schedule below. If no objections are received, the road humps will be constructed on the lengths of road as detailed in the Schedule below after 12th December 2024.
Copies of the proposals together with the plans may be inspected at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm. If you are unable to attend in person copies of the documentation may be requested via the email phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the postal address below. SCHEDULE
Proposed Road Humps - 75mm high (+/- 15 mm), 3.7m in length and the full width of the carriageway (less 200mm - 300mm either side for drainage channel). The midpoint of the crossing is Located: Outside 15 / 13 Crosby Avenue, and 31.2 metres north of northern extended kerbline of Sprong Clough Avenue to the centre of the road hump.
Salford City Council proposes to make the following Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The title and effects of the Order is as follows; City Of Salford (Crosby Avenue, Walkden, Salford) (Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2024 The Order will introduce the following restrictions. No Waiting At Any Time on: Crosby Avenue - Both sides from the northern extended kerbline of Spring Clough Avenue, in a northerly direction for 10 metres. West side from a point 60 metres north of the northern extended kerb line of Spring Clough Avenue, in a northerly direction for 46 metres to Cul-de-sac end. East side from a point 83.5 metres north of the northern extended kerb line of Spring Clough Avenue, in a northerly direction for 23 metres to Cul-de-sac end, including turning head area and across the Cul-de sac end. Spring Clough Ave - North side from a point 10 metres west of the western extended kerb line of Crosby Avenue, easterly to a point 10 metres east of the eastern extended kerb line of Crosby Avenue.
