NOTICE OF PROPOSAL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS, HYNDBURN AND ROSSENDALE) (REVOCATION, PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING (24-25 NO1H)) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to: 1. Revoke the “Lancashire County Council (Hyndburn Area) (On Street Parking Places, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Consolidation Order 2009” insofar as it relates to Item (112)a)(ii) of Schedule 11.075. 2. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road: a) Access Road to Frontier Park Services, Rishton, the north west side, from its roundabout junction with Frontier Avenue for a distance of 59 metres in a north easterly then north westerly direction; b) Access Road to Frontier Park Services, Rishton, the south east side, from its roundabout junction with Frontier Avenue for a distance of 67.5 metres in a north easterly then easterly direction; c) Frontier Avenue, Rishton, both sides, on the north western bound carriageway from its junction with A768 Whitebirk Roundabout for a distance of 197 metres in a south easterly direction; d) Frontier Avenue, Rishton, the north east side, on the south eastern bound carriageway from its junction with A678 Whitebirk Roundabout for a distance of 228 metres in a south easterly direction; e) Frontier Avenue, Rishton, the south west side, on the south eastern bound carriageway from its junction with A678 Whitebirk Roundabout for a distance of 175 metres in a south easterly direction; f) Thorneylea, Whitworth, Rochdale, the north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Market Street for a distance of 29 metres in a south easterly direction; g) Thorneylea, Whitworth, Rochdale, the south west side, from its junction with the centreline of Market Street for a distance of 16 metres in a south easterly direction. 3. Introduce a restriction of waiting Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm in Whalley Road, Accrington, the south west side, from its junction with the centreline of Peel Street for a distance of 18.5 metres in a north westerly direction. A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Hyndburn Borough Council, Scaitcliffe House, Ormerod Street, Accrington, BB5 0PF, and at the offices of Rossendale Borough Council - One Stop Shop, The Business Centre, Futures Park, Newchurch Road, Bacup, OL13 0BB, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-andtravel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx.
