The Stirling - Introduces New 40-Mph Limits

What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICES

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (40 mph Speed Limit) (Kippen) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 15-11-24.

This Order introduces new 40-mph Limits on Fore Road (B8037) and Fintry Road (B822), Kippen to create 40mph speed limit buffer zones in advance of the 20mph speed limit through the village. 

This is being implemented in the interest of road safety.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order, should write to the Court of Session with six weeks 15-11-24.

The COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (20mph Speed Limit) (Crianlarich) Order 2024 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to reduce the existing 30mph speed limit on Glenfalloch Road, Crianlarich to 20mph and introduces new 20mph restrictions on Meadow Grove, Station Road and Willow Brae, Crianlarich. This restriction is being implemented as part of Stirling Council’s roll out of village wide 20mph speed limits.

The COUNCIL propose to make the Stirling Council (A81 Glasgow Road, Blanefield) (Pavement Parking Prohibition Exemption) Order 2024 under the Transport (Scotland) Act 2019.

This Order proposes to exempt the pavement parking prohibition on:
A81, Glasgow Road On the south-west side thereof from a point 1.9 metres or thereby south-east of the western gable end of the properties known as 41-53 Main Street in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 12.3 metres or thereby.

The Schedule and Plan, together with a copy of this Order, shall be available for inspection by any member of the public at Endrick House, Kerse Road, Stirling during the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. These shall also be available on the Council’s website - [www.stirling.gov.uk].
