What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(MERIDIAN WAY, THE DISTRICT OF BLABY) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2022 (MERIDIAN WAY, THORPE ASTLEY) (AMENDMENT 8) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 19, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in compliance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act 1991 and the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to impose :-
To impose No Waiting at Any Time Restrictions from Meridian Way to Superstore and Public House, Thorpe Astley.
The Order will come into force on the twenty fifth day of November 2024

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
