A30 Trunk Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic For Associated Maintenance Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)(A)
THE A30 TRUNK ROAD (AVERS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) intends to make an Order on the A30 trunk road in the County of Cornwall to allow cable and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place overnight (20.00 to 06.00) commencing on or after 9 December 2024 and be completed by 14 December 2024.
The effect of the Order would be the closure of the A30 westbound entry slip road at Avers Junction.
During the closures, traffic would be diverted via junctions of the A30 and local roads.
The closures (which would not apply to emergency service, traffic officer or works vehicles) and diversion route would be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order would come into force on 7 December 2024 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
