(Worthing: High Street & Lyndhurst Road)

(Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close High Street in Worthing to southbound traffic between Union Place and Chatsworth Road. This restriction is currently expected to be in force from 25 November 2024 to 9 February 2025, with the restriction removed for a period over Christmas.

The Order also temporarily closes Lyndhurst Road in Worthing between High Street and Providence Terrace. This restriction is expected to be in force from 9 February 2025 to 2 June 2025. These restrictions are needed to allow works to install new heat network infrastructure to be carried out in safety.

Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Haywards Heath: Borde Hill Lane)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Borde Hill Lane in Haywards Heath from its junction with Copyhold Lane northwards to the access to Naldred Farm.

The road closure is needed to maintain safety while highway drainage works are carried out.

The Order extends the operation of a previously issued closure notice and will come into effect on 10 October 2023 and remain in force until 16 October 2023. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier.

During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

((Worthing) (Parking Places & Traffic Regulation) (Consolidation) Order 2007)

(Chesswood Road and Ladydell Road Amendment No.2) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to extend lengths of existing double yellow lines at the crossroads formed by Chesswood Road and Ladydell Road in Worthing. These restrictions are a revised version of restrictions previously proposed as part of a project to install pedestrian crossings at the junction.

((Arun District) (Parking Places & Traffic Regulation)

(Consolidation) Order 2010) (Arundel: Mill Road Amendment) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC proposes to make a permanent Traffic regulation Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit motor caravans waiting in any of the currently unrestricted parking places in Mill Road, Arundel between 2200 hours and 0900 hours on any day.
