What is happening?
CAMBRIDGESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council has made an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:
Parson Drove Lane, Leverington (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 – 1632 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Parson Drove Lane, Leverington as lies between South Gates and Boith-Y-Gest. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1101 – B1165 – Roman Bank (C14), Newton-in-the-Isle – Roman Bank, Leverington and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate culvert installation and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 2 December 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 1 June 2026 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 2 December and 12 December 2024.
Mile Tree Lane, Wisbech (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 – 1643 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mile Tree Lane, Wisbech as lies between The Bungalow and Hannath. The alternative route for vehicles is via Mile Tree Lane – B1542 – Lords Lane – North Brink and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 3 December 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 2 June 2026 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 3 December and 9 December 2024.
Gosmoor Lane, Elm (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 – 1657 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Gosmoor Lane, Elm as lies between Bar Drove and Oldfield Avenue. The alternative route for vehicles is via Gosmoor Lane – A1101 – B1101 and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 16 December 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 15 June 2026 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs to 15:30hrs 16 December to 17 December 2024.
Sealeys Lane (C19), Parson Drove (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 – 1667 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Sealeys Lane (C19), Parson Drove as lies between The Bungalow and the B1166. The alternative route for vehicles is via B1166 – Marshall Bank – Sealeys (C19) and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate moving of existing lighting column and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 20 December 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 19 June 2026 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs 20 December 2024.
Park Road, Manea (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 – 1668 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Park Road, Manea as lies between River View and Parkside. The alternative route for vehicles is via Park Road – B1093 – West Field Road – Fallow Corner Drove – Straight Road and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection to cabinet and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 3 December 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 2 June 2026 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 3 December and 9 December 2024.
Mill Lane, Newton in the Isle (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 – 1669 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mill Lane, Newton in the Isle as lies between Woodlands and Fen Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Fen Road – Black Dyke – Fritton End Road, Gorefield – Fritton End Road, Newton in the Isle – Mill Lane and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate telecommunications and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 18 December 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 17 June 2026 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs 18 December 2024.
High Road, Gorefield (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 – 1696 Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Road, Gorefield as lies between number 162 and Allens Drove. The alternative route for vehicles is via Gote Lane – Goredike Bank (C15), Newton-in-the-Isle and vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate utility services and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 9 December 2024 and continue until these works have finished or on the 8 June 2026 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 9 December and 13 December 2024. Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
