(U22404 Weights Lane, Redditch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U22404 Weights Lane from its junction with Hawling Street
(Private) to its junction with Claydon Close (Private).
Reason: New development works. Carriageway resurfacing by Erris Builders Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there
is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Pedestrians must follow separate diversion route.
No access for emergency services, diversion route must be followed.
Alternative route: U22404 Weights Lane (part), A441 Birmingham Road, A441 Alvechurch
Highway, B4184 Middlehouse Lane, B4184 Hewell Road, Burrington Close (Private), Hawling
Street (Private), and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days (24hrs). Commencing: 25 November
2024.
(U23400 Crabmill Lane, Hollywood) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U23400 Crabmill Lane from its junction with C2171 Dark Lane for a distance of 1985 metres in a north easterly direction until Birmingham County boundary on Druids Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2171 Dark Lane, C2180 Alcester Road, C2180 Alcester Road South into Birmingham and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 24 November 2024 and 4 December 2024.
(U23408 Bell Green Lane, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U23408 Bell Green Lane from its junction with C2170 Icknield
Street to its junction with C2040 Middle Lane.
Reason: Carriageway patching by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2170 Icknield Street, C2042 Clewshaw Lane, C2040 Middle Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 25 November 2024 and 4 December 2024.
(U23404 Primrose Hill, Wythall) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U23404 Primrose Hill from its junction with C2170 Icknield Street for a distance of 102 metres in a north westerly direction until the boundary with Birmingham.
Reason: Verge maintenance by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2170 Icknield Street, C2036 Clewshaw Lane, C2040 Middle Lane, C2040 Gayhill Lane into Birmingham and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 22 November 2024.
(Link Footpath F20599 Apsley Croft & F20600 Leydon Croft (connecting Chelworth Road to
Walkers Heath Road), Walkers Heath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: Link Footpath F20599 Apsley Croft from its
junction with U23496 Chelworth Road to its junction with Walkers Heath Road.
Closure 2: Link Footpath F20600 Leydon Croft from its junction with U23496 Chelworth Road to
its junction with Walkers Heath Road.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: U23496 Chelworth Road, Harbinger Road (Birmingham), Walkers Heath Road (Birmingham) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days. Commencing: 12 December 2024.
(U23242 School Lane, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U23242 School Lane from its junction with U23242 School
Lane to its junction with Church Walk.
Reason: New Customer Connection by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2291 Swan Street, C2001 Bear Hill, U23242 School Lane (part).
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 16 December 2024.
(Link Footpath F30305 Foredrift Road (between No. 25/26), Redditch) (Temporary Closure)
Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F30305 Foredrift Road (between no. 25/26) from its junction with U31126 Foredrift Close to its junction with Link Footpath F30304 Greenfield to Dormston.
Reason: New ducting in footway by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative Route: Link Footpath F30304 Greenfield to Dormston, Link Footpath F30305 Foredrift Road (btw no. 40/41), U31126 Foredrift Close, and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days. Commencing: 16 December 2024.
