Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders would be:

1. To revoke and reinstate all the existing waiting restrictions on Remington Road N15 between a point 25 metres northeast from the junction with Moreton Road and the junction with Pulford Road in accordance with the new carriageway layout, as detailed below:

a. Double Yellow Lines will be installed on both sides of Remington Road N15 throughout the extent specified above, except:

i. Lay-by on southwest side (outside No.30-31): 1x Dedicated Disabled Parking bay (6.5 metres) and 2x Resident Permit Holders Only bays (4.8 metres).

ii. Lay-by on southwest side outside No.3/4 Remington Road:

2x 5.2 metre Resident Permit Holder Only bays and 1x 2.5 metre bicycle parking storage hangar.

iii. Lay-by southwest side outside No.112 Remington Road: 3x 5.2 metre Resident Permit Holders Only bays.

iv. Lay-by on northeast side outside No.89/Rowan Court:

1 .x 6.6 metre Disabled Badge Holders Only bay, 3x 6.4 metre Disabled Badge Holders Only bay and 1 x 7.2 metre Resident Permit Holders Only bay.

b. To convert Single Yellow Line to Double Yellow Line on the west side of Pulford Road opposite No.86-96.

c. Install a 6.6 metre Disabled Badge Holders Only bay outside No.96 Pulford Road.

2. To implement a one-way restriction on Remington Road N15 between Moreton Road and Pulford Road permitting vehicles to travel in an easterly direction only. There will be an exemption for cyclists to accommodate the installation of an advisory contraflow cycle lane on Remington Road (travelling in a westerly direction).

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council's statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey. Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey or alternatively email traffic. orders@haringey.gov.uk or write to Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 4th floor, 225, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR quoting refence 2024-T45, by 11th December 2024.
