RUTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE)  Multiple Locations Parish of  Oakham CP Order 2024

Rutland County Council District Council (‘the Council’) has powers under section 16A (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) to make traffic regulation orders affecting the adopted highway within the County of Rutland. TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council now proposes to make an order entitled the Rutland County Council District Council (Temporary Diversion of Vehicular Traffic) Multiple Locations, Parish of Oakham CP Order 2024 as the Council are satisfied that traffic on the road should be restricted because a Christmas Late Night Shopping event is proposed to be held on or near the road. The effect of the order will be that during the dates and times specified below

- All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the length of road known as Mill Street, Market Place and Market Street, Church Street, and High Street from Burley Road junction to New Street junction. The duration of the Closure shall be as follows:9th December 2024 at 12:00pm to 9th December 2024 at 22:00pm.

The closure will be continuously enforced during the period specified. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is in progress.
