What is happening?

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Kersehill Crescent, Falkirk from 09:30 until 18:00 on 22/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to number 11 in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Kersehill Crescent, Kersehill Circle or vice versa.

Lind Place, Dennyloanhead from 09:30 until 18:00 on 22/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Number 6 in an easterly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Not applicable.

Mariner Drive, Camelon from 08:00 on 25/11/24 until 17:00 on 06/12/24. The prohibition is to allow for utility works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Mariner Road in a northerly direction for approximately 70 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Mariner Street, Mariner Road or vice versa.

Standrigg Gardens, Brightons from 08:00 until 18:00 on 25/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Standrigg Road in a northerly direction for approximately 60 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Standrigg Gardens, Standrigg Road or vice versa.

C20 Denovan Road, Denny from 08:00 on 27/11/24 until 17:00 on 30/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for telecommunications works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Denovan Cottage in a westerly direction for approximately 300 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Denovan Road, A827, A883, B905, Denovan Road or vice versa.

C51, Avondale Road, Polmont from 07.30 hours on 28/11/2024 until 17.00 hours on 28/02/2025. The prohibition is for road safety concerns and to allow for embankment works adjacent to the carriageway.

1. This Order temporarily closes C51, Avondale Road, Polmont from approx Jinkabout Bridge for a distance of approx. 250m to approx Polmont Hill Cottage
2. The alternative route: C51- Jinkabout Bridge, A905- Wholeflats Road, C71- Grange Road, C51- Bo’ness Road, A803- Main Street, A803- Gilston Roundabout, A803, A803- Lathallan Roundabout, C51- Avondale Road and vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

A803 High Street, Bonnybridge from 08:00 until 17:00 on 25/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for telecommunication works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on A803 High Street, Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to Dunure Street in an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 100 metres or thereby.

Grahamsdyke Road, Bo'ness from 09:30 until 18:00 on 25/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Grahamsdyke Road, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to one in an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 100 metres or thereby.

Maddiston Road, Falkirk from 09:30 until 18:00 on 26/11/24. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Maddiston Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Park Terrace in a northerly direction on both sides for approximately 115 metres or thereby.
