ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

(BRIGGATE, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Triton Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Briggate from Anchor Bridge to Ship Street for a distance of approximately 24 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th July 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(COOPER BRIDGE ROAD, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Cooper Bridge Road from Cooper Bridge Roundabout to 10 metres after bridge MVN2 – 182 for a distance of approximately 100 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via A62 Cooper Bridge Road, Cooper Bridge Roundabout, A644 Wakefield Road, A641 Huddersfield Road, Bradley Bar Roundabout, A6107 Bradley Road, A62 Leeds Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 22:00 & 06:00.

(ELIZABETH STREET, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Elizabeth Street from No. 1 to No. 7 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Southgate, Catherine Street, Frances Street, unaffected part of Elizabeth Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(OGDEN LANE, RASTRICK)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ogden Lane from its junction with Toothill Bank to The Old Vicarage for a distance of approximately 55 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Church Street, Crowtrees Lane, New Hey Road, Clough Lane, Fixby Road, Huddersfield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th November 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SUTCLIFFE WOOD LANE, HIPPERHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sutcliffe Wood Lane from its junction with Walter Clough Lane to Hebble Brook House for a distance of approximately 250 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Sutcliffe Wood Lane, Half House Lane, A644 Brighouse Road, A644 Halifax Road, A58 Halifax Road, Tanhouse Hill, Station Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(THORNHILLS BECK LANE, CLIFTON)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhills Beck Lane from Thornhills Lane to Hole Bottom Farm for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Jay House Lane, Highmoor Lane, Clifton Common, Clifton Road, A644, Wakefield Road, Huddersfield Road, Bradford Road, unaffected part of Thornhills Beck Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 6th December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(COMMERCIAL STREET, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Wates Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of Commercial Street footway from its junction with St John’s Lane and Fountain Street for a distance of approximately 101 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route will be via tunnelled scaffolding that will be lit and protected to safeguard members of the public. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(POWELL STREET, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Wates Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Powell Street from its junction with Carlton Terrace in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Powell Street, Fountain Street, Harrison Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ST JOHNS LANE, HALIFAX)

The alternative route follow diversion on site. (ST JOHNS PLACE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Water Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of St Johns Place footway from its junction with St Johns Lane and Trinity Road for a distance of approximately 148 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route for pedestrians is via St Johns Lane, Commercial Street, Powell Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TRINITY ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Wates Construction have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Trinity Road from Commercial Street/Portland Place to Powell Street for a distance of approximately 36 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Powell Street, Fountain Street, Harrison Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 25th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th November 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BULL GREEN AREA, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Roadway UK Traffic Management Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any pedestrians to proceed in the length of Bull Green/Bull Green Lane/Barum Top/Bull Green roundabout/Cow Green/Powell Street/Rawson Street/George Street/Lord Street Harrison Road/Back Ferguson Street/Fountain Street/Lister Lane/Silver Street/Black Swan passage/Harrison Road/Central Street/Crown Street to Cow Green Junction with Pellon Lane. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th February 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period as and when required.

(NEW ROAD, ERRINGDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Centurion Traffic Management have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of New Road from Shelf Road in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th November 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 16:30.

(BACK CHELTENHAM PLACE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Cheltenham Place from rear of No. 9 Cheltenham Place to rear of No.11 Cheltenham Place for a distance of approximately 2.5 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Cheltenham Place, Coronation Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BACK HEATH HALL, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back Heath Hall from rear of No. 1 Heath Hall to rear of No.3 Heath Hall for a distance of approximately 5 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th December 2024. (BOWLING GREEN ROAD, STAINLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bowling Green Road from The Rose & Crown Pub to No.9 for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via South Parade, Back Bowling Green Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(MARSDEN GATE, SOWOOD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Marsden Gate from nr radio mast in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Marsden Gate, Park Lane, B6112, A640 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 9th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th December 2024. (PARK LANE/CHANGE LANE, SIDDAL)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Park Lane/Change Lane from No.75 Park Lane to Rosemary Hill Farm for a distance of approximately 83 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Park Lane, Backhold Lane, Cinderhills Lane, Rosemary Lane, unaffected part of Change Lane and vice versa. (SHIELD HALL LANE, SOWERBY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Shield Hall Lane from its junction with Pinfold Lane to Warley View for a distance of approximately 30 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Pinfold Lane, Stocks Lane, Towngate, Dob Lane, Higham and Dob Lane, unaffected part of Shield Hall Lane and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bank House Lane from its junction with Holme House Lane to Wood Cottage for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Union Lane from its junction with Rocks Lane in a north-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 140 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Rocks Lane, unaffected part of Union Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 10th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 10th December 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(FOOTPATH HALIFAX 651, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Halifax 651 from Burnley Road to Rochdale Road for a distance of approximately 51 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Burnley Road onto Footpath Halifax 652 at Wainhouse Terrace, Rochdale Road to Halifax 651 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 12th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(THORNHILLS BECK LANE, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Total Resources intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhills Beck Lane from its junction with Thornhills Lane to Bam Nuttall site entrance for a distance of approximately 483 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Thornhills Beck Lane, Bradford Road, Birkby Lane, Walton Lane, Jay House Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th December 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(BRIDLEWAY TODMORDEN 009, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Network Rail intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Bridleway Todmorden 009 from Point A to Point B (as per map on site) for a distance of approximately 137 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. For alternative route see map. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th June 2025. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SAVILE PARK, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council for safety reasons intend to make an Order to introduce temporary parking restrictions in the length of Savile Park from junction of Savile Park and Skircoat Moor Road to junction of Savile Park and northern part of Manor Heath Road (260m north of junction of Savile Park and Skircoat Moor Road) for a distance of approximately 260 metres. PROVIDED THAT pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained.

No waiting at any time restrictions on:

1. Approach to traffic lights,

2. Junction protection for Manor Heath Road (north and south)

3. Protection of access to local business

4. Provide visibility for pedestrians using the footpath across the moor.

Plus: Limited time waiting to provide short term parking for users of the business and the moor.

It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 7th November 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, or 7th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(CATHERINE STREET, ELLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Rapid Response Telecoms intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Catherine Street from its junction with Huddersfield Road to No. 1 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th December 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 15th December 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
