The County of Cornwall (Road From Junction South Of Penvergate To Menagwins, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th December 2024 to 20th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Junction South Of Penvergate To Menagwins, St Austell from grid references SW 98223:41684 and SW 98103:41471.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th December 2024 to 18th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Roads affected - Tucoyse Hill, Trevithick Hill, Polmassick from grid references SW 97083:45732 and SW 96952:45291.

Road From Edge Corner To Junction North Of Trelean Plantation between grid references SW 97669:46078 and SW 97859:46142.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th December 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Porteath Road, Wadebridge from junction with Windmill Road to junction with Treglines Lane.

This prohibition is necessary for pole change works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd December 2024 to 6th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Porth Bean Road, Newquay from rear of No 3 Bolowthas Way to junction of Lewarne Road.

This prohibition is necessary for drainage improvement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th December 2024 to 6th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Barton Lane To Trebudannion, Newquay between Barton Lane and A392 From Whitecross To Newquay Road.

This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd December 2024 to 13th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for blockage clearing and cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th December 2024, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Rylands To Higher Lank, St Breward, Bodmin between the junctions of Hill Close and Chyryn Drive.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Gorran Haven. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th December 2024 to 23rd December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Trewollock Lane, Gorran Haven from outside property known as Tregillan to outside property known as Morgelyn.

Cornwall Council
Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th November 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Urban Footway F7086, Cubert between grid references SW78575 58050 and SW78626 58010. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a collapsed wall.

The Order will come into operation on 6th November 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 6th December 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 6th November 2024 for a period of up to 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
