THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (B6019 THE COMMON,
SOUTH NORMANTON)
(REVOCATION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that, on Wednesday the 13th November 2024 Derbyshire County Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on Monday the 25th November 2024 and its effect is:
TO REVOKE THE FOLLOWING LENGTHS OF PROHIBITION OF WAITING:
The Common, South Normanton
North side
From a point 13 metres east of its junction with Market Street in an easterly direction, for a distance of 38 metres.
South side
From a point 13 metres east of its junction with Alfreton Road in an easterly direction, for a distance of 61 metres.
From a point 91 metres east of its junction with Alfreton Road in an easterly direction, for a distance of 8 metres.
The Derbyshire County Council (On-Street Parking, Waiting and Loading Prohibitions and Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2016, insofar as it relates to the lengths of road listed above is hereby revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, South Normanton Library, Library and Information Centre, The Hub, Shiners Way, South Normanton, Derbyshire, DE55 2AA during opening hours and on request by emailing place.permanentTRO@derbyshire.gov.uk until 6 weeks after the Order is made until 25th December 2024.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the ground that a requirement of that Act or any relevant regulation made under it has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the 13th November 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
