SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5422 THE COMMON, BOTESDALE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5422 The Common, Botesdale from Woodhouse Farm for 40 metres northbound to facilitate repairs to carriageway defects. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be The Common, Common Road, Potters Lane, the A143, Mill Road South and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 28/11/2024 -29/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U1517 THE HILLS, UGGESHALL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U1517 The Hills, Uggeshall from the junction with Stoven Road for 110 metres eastbound to facilitate access to overhead cables and poles. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Stoven Road. Halesworth Road,

Wangford Road, School Road, The Hills and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 28/11/2024

but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months

(or longer if extended by the Minister).

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL (PARISH OF TRIMLEY ST MARY)

(FOOTPATH 4) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

This order, which came into effect on 17/06/2024 closing Footpath 4 in Trimley St Mary has been extended in force by the Minister until 31/03/2026 or until the works are complete, whichever is the earlier.

This closure is required for safety reasons to facilitate construction works for new housing development. Without further extension the order would have expired on 16/12/2024. The diversion route will be Trimley St Martin Footpath 31, Trimley St Martin Footpath 30, Trimley St Martin Bridleway 56, Trimley St Martin Restricted Byway 28, Trimley St Mary Restricted Byway 3, High Road, Trimley St Martin ana vice versa.
