SUSSEX COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C324 PLAYFORD MOUNT, GREAT BEALINGS

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C324 Playford Mount, Great Bealings from Clematis Cottage to the junction with Boot Street to facilitate fibre ducting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Holly Lane, Boot Street, Hall Farm Road, Rosery Lane, Lodge Road, The Street, Station Road, Playford Road, Butts Road, Playford Mount and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 01/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U3126 VICTORIA STREET, FELIXSTOWE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U3126 Victoria Street, Felixstowe from the junction with Orwell Road to the junction with Hamilton Road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Cobbold Road, Ranelagh Road, Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 20/11/2024 from 7pm - 5am. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C233 BRUISYARD ROAD, CRANSFORD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C233 Bruisyard Road, Cransford from the junction with West Farm Road to Lodge Road to facilitate a footway reconstruction. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Church Road, the B1119 West Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 22/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U2335 BEACONSFIELD ROAD AND U2334 DRUNELL STREET, ALDEBURGH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:

  1. U2335 Beaconsfield Road, Aldeburgh

  2. U2334 Drunell Street, Aldeburgh

    This is to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

    Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

    The diversion routes will be:

  3. Lee Road, Park Lane, The Terrace and vice versa

  4. The A1094, Hertford Place, Drunell Street and vice versa.

    It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 20/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4815 CHANCERY LANE DEBENHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U4815 Chancery Lane, Debenham from no. 15 for 30 metres northbound to facilitate the installation of new water main fittings. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be via Little Back Lane, the B1077, Cherry Brook Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 20/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FOOTPATH 20, GRUNDISBURGH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 20, Grundisburgh to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Ipswich Road, Post Mill Gardens, Grundisburgh Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 20/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C517 UPPER STREET AND THE STREET, BROME AND OAKLEY

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

  • C517 Upper Street, Brome and Oakley from the junction with Oakley Church Lane for 465 metres westbound

  • C517 The Street, Brome and Oakley from the junction with The Avenue for 615 metres northbound

This is to facilitate fibre duct and cabling works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be The Street, Rectory Road, Eye Road, the B1077, the A140, the B1118, Upper Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 26/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C680 MILL ROAD, HARTEST

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C680 Mill Road, Hartest from 400 metres west of the junction with The Green for 30 metres westbound to facilitate the installation of a new electricity supply. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1066, Somerton Road, Lower Street, the road south east from the C681, The Green, Rede Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 23/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1118 STRADBROKE ROAD AND GREEN STREET, SYLEHAM AND HOXNE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1118 Stradbroke Road, Syleham from the junction with Green Street for 20 metres southbound and the B1118 Green Street, Hoxne from the junction with Stradbroke Road for 20 metres westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1118, the B1117, the B1077, and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 27/11/2024 - 29/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Bucklesham Road, Main Road, The Heath, Brightwell Street, the A12, the A1156, Bucklesham Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 29/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U2329 School Road, Knockshall from the junction with Church Road for 45 metres eastbound to facilitate the renewal and installation of water assets. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Grove Road, the B1119, the B1069, Park Hill, Mill Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 20/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ON PART OF THE U4421 BULLEN LANE, BRAMFORD

Suffolk County Council has made an order for a temporary 30 mph speed restriction on the U4421 Bullen Lane, Bramford from 1360 metres east of the junction with Lorraine Way for 400 metres westbound to facilitate safe operation during construction works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

It is intended that this measure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 10/02/2026 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1125 Reckford Road, Westleton from the junction with Mill Street to the junction with Fenstreet Road to facilitate cleaning, jetting and CCTV works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the B1125, the B1387, the A12 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 18/11/2024 from 9am - 3pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be U8340 Temple Bar, School Green, Mill Green and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 18/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C707 Preston Road, Kettlebaston from the junction with Highlands Road for 50 metres north eastbound to facilitate drainage improvement works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Highlands Road, the B1115, Bury Road, Balls Hill, Hitcham Road, The Street and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 29/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 48, FOXHALL

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 48, Foxhall at the footbridge for safety reasons due to an unsafe footbridge. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Footpath 4, Purdis Farm, Footpath 1, Purdis Farm, Footpath 3, Purdis Farm, Footpath 24, Rushmere St Andrew, Footpath 3, Foxhall and vice versa.

This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 28/10/2024.

It is intended that the closure will operate until 27/04/2025, but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BRIDLEWAYS 12 AND 19, WENHAM PARVA

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Bridleways 12 and 19, Wenham Parva for safety reasons due to an unsafe bridleway surface. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

The diversion route will be Brook Lane, Byway 21, Byway 20 and vice versa.

This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 28/10/2024.

It is intended that the closure will operate until 27/04/2025, but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
