Temporary Public Path Closure Order 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along : 

MidRupp131 The footpath, which starts at Thornham Lane at Grid Ref: E388771 N408757 and runs in a generally north east direction for approximately 1226 metres to definitive right of way MidRupp37 running over Boarshaw Lane at Grid Ref: E389540 N407841.

The Order is required to facilitate the works to be carried out to the overhead cables. The closure is necessary to protect the public from danger posed by works.

The Order came into force on 14th November 2024.

There is no alternative route for pedestrians.

Plans showing the length of footpath to be closed may be viewed on the Council's website www.rochdale.gov.uk
