What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF

THE U1432 PUDDINGMOOR ROAD, BECCLES

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1432 Puddingmoor Road, Beccles to facilitate the inspection of a retaining wall. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Saltgate, The Walk, New Market, Ballygate, the B1062 Bungay Road, Puddingmoor Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 18/11/2024 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U6237 GORDON ROAD, LOWESTOFT

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U6237 Gordon Road, Lowestoft from 55 metres east of the junction with Clapham Road South for 40 metres eastbound to facilitate replacing a water pipe. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be the A12, St Peters Street, the A47 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 22/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U1501 RIGBOURNE HILL, BECCLES

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1501 Rigbourne Hill, Beccles from the junction with Stanton Close for 40 metres northbound to facilitate carriageway patching. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Rigbourne Hill and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 22/11/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF

THE U8075 CLIFTON ROAD, LOWESTOFT

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U8075 Clifton Road, Lowestoft to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

  • Eastbound: Beaconsfield Road, Lawson Road, Lorne Park Road, the B1532 and no vice versa.

  • Westbound: The B1532, Waterloo Road, the B1532, Cliff Road, the B1532, Lorne Park Road, Lawson Road, Beaconsfield Road and no vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 20/11/2024 from 7pm - 5am but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF

THE U1726 RECTORY LANE, WORLINGHAM

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the U1726 Rectory Lane, Worlingham from no. 6 to no. 12 to facilitate a new gas main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Lowestoft Road, Garden Lane, Manor Close and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 18/11/2024 - 06/12/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
