What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE & MALLING AREA
Butchers Lane, Mereworth, ME18 5AA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Butchers Lane, Mereworth, on or after 26th November 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside Highcroft to 185, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Butchers Lane, Beech Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, The Street and vice versa.
Dunks Green Road, Shipbourne, TN11 9RU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dunks Green Road, Shipbourne, on or after 9th December 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Silverhill Cottages. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Dunks Green Road, Long Mill Lane, The Street, School Lane, Hamptons Road and vice versa.
Grange Road & Long Mill Lane, St Marys Platt, TN15 8NG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage cleaning works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Grange Road & Long Mill Lane, St Marys Platt, on or after 27th November 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside St. Marys Church. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Grange Road, A25 Maidstone Road, Crouch Lane, Long Mill Lane and vice versa.
Matthews Lane, West Peckham (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow drainage cleaning works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Matthews Lane, West Peckham, on or after 10th December 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Vines Farm and the junction of Forge Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Gover Hill, Oxenhoath Road, Carpenters Lane, Common Road, Matthews Lane and vice versa.
Mount Pleasant, Hildenborough, TN11 9LQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mount Pleasant, Hildenborough, on or after 9th December 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 53. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Riding Lane, B245 Tonbridge Road, Mount Pleasant and vice versa.
Reeds Lane, Shipbourne, TN11 9RR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Reeds Lane, Shipbourne, on or after 29th November 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Norcadia, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Claygate Lane, Puttenden Road, Higham Lane, A227 Shipbourne Road, A227 Tonbridge Road, Back Lane and vice versa.
