Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
Bitchet Green Road, Seal, TN15 0LR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bitchet Green Road, Seal, on or after 29th November 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Five Went Ways Cottages.
The alternative route is via Bitchet Green Road, Pond Lane, Stone Street and vice versa.
Costells Meadow, Westerham, TN16 1BP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Costells Meadow, Westerham, on or after 10th December 2024 for up to 2 nights between 19:00hrs and 07:00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed opposite number 7.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, BR8 8LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of highway improvement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, on or after 6th December 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Red Crow Farm.
The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Main Road, B258 Broadway/Green Court Road/Goldsel Road, B2173 London Road, Wested Lane and vice versa.
Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, BR8 8EJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, on or after 12th December 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Church Road and Crockenhill Lane.
The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Main Road, B258 Broadway/Green Court Road/Goldsel Road, B2173 London Road, Wested Lane and vice versa.
Five Fields Lane, Four Elms, TN8 6NB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a new water connection, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Five Fields Lane, Four Elms.
The road will be closed between:
2nd December 2024 and 9th December 2024
16th December 2024 and 23rd December 2024
The road will be open between 10th December 2024 and 15th December 2024.
The road will be closed outside Owls Court.
The alternative route is via Five Fields Lane, B2027 Clinton Lane/Bough Beech Road/Four Elms Road and vice versa.
Gracious Lane, Sevenoaks, TN13 1TJ (TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow South East Water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order for a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30mph to be imposed on a section of Gracious Lane, Sevenoaks.
Works are planned from 25th November 2024 to 29th November 2024.
The 30mph speed limit applies in both directions on Gracious Lane, Sevenoaks, from Gracious Lane Bridge to Lovely Cottage.
High Street, Edenbridge, TN8 5AR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow The Community Christmas Event, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Edenbridge.
A closure is planned from 10.00hrs to 20.00hrs on 30th November 2024.
High Street will be closed between B2026 Mont St Aignan Way and Croft Lane.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via High Street, Station Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way and vice versa.
Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, TN15 7LB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hodsoll Street, Hodsoll Street, on or after 25th November 2024 for up to 4 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between The Hollies and Home Farm Cottages.
The alternative route is via A227 Wrotham Road, Chapmans Hill, Rosemary Lane, Hodsoll Street and vice versa.
Pilgrims Way, Westerham, TN16 2DP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pilgrims Way, Westerham, on or after 26th November 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed near Pilgrim House.
The alternative route is via A223 London Road, Force Green Lane, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.
School Lane, Seal, TN15 0BF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of South East Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of School Lane, Seal, on or after 25th November 2024 for up to 1 night between 20.00hrs and 05.00hrs or until the works have been completed. The One-Way will be suspended to allow access.
The road will be closed outside 5 School Cottages.
The alternative route is via A25 High Street/Seal Road, A225 Otford Road/Sevenoaks Road/Station Road, Pilgrims Way East, Pilgrims Way, Chiddingstone Lane and vice versa.
Spode Lane, Cowden, TN8 7HX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spode Lane, Cowden, on or after 4th December 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 33.
The alternative route is via North Street, High Street, Butterwell Hill, B2026 Hartfield Road, Spode Lane and vice versa.
Three Gates Road, Fawkham, DA3 8HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Three Gates Road, Fawkham, on or after 28th November 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Speedgate Lodge and Three Gates.
The alternative route is via Speedgate Hill, Valley Road, Scudders Hill, Three Gates Road and vice versa.
Three Gates Road, Fawkham, DA3 8HF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Three Gates Road, Fawkham, on or after 3rd December 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Three Gates Stables.
The alternative route is via Speedgate Hill, Valley Road, Scudders Hill, Three Gates Road and vice versa.
Tinkerpot Lane, West Kingsdown, TN15 6AB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tinkerpot Lane, West Kingsdown, on or after 12th December 2024 for up to 2 days between 09.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed adjacent to Yanook.
The alternative route is via Tinkerpot Lane, School Lane, A20 London Road/Gorse Hill, A225 Eynsford Road/High Street/Station Road/Shoreham Road, Pilgrims Way East, Row Dow, Birchin Cross Road, Clarkes Green Lane and vice versa.
Zion Street, Seal, TN15 0BF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of highway improvement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Zion Street, Seal, on or after 11th December 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route is via Church Road, Church Street, A25 High Street and vice versa.
Various Roads, Sevenoaks, TN13 9WP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow The Christmas Light Switch-On Celebration Event, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on various roads, Sevenoaks.
A225 High Street - between A224 London Road and Pembroke Road
Dorset Street - whole length
Akehurst Lane - whole length
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pembroke Road, A224 London Road and vice versa.
The roads will be closed on 30th November 2024 between 13.30hrs and 18.30hrs.
