Cote Green Road, Marple Bridge - Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Vegetation Removal Works
What is happening?
THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (COTE GREEN ROAD, MARPLE BRIDGE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffc Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffc (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which is to introduce a Temporary Prohibition of Driving at Cote Green Road from approx 25m north east of the junction of Glossop Road to the junction of Cote Green Lane whilst traffc signs to that effect are in place on or near the said roads. This Order is necessary because vegetation removal works are being, or are proposed to be executed. It is anticipated that the maximum duration of the works will be 1 day. Alternative route will be provided via:- Cote Green Road, Glossop Road and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on the 26 November 2024 and will have effect for eighteen months, provided that if all necessary works are completed within a shorter period this Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
