Temporary Road Closure Of C43 Blaisdon Road
(Westbury On Severn Parish) Forest Of Dean District
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C43 Blaisdon Road from 10 metres either side of the Railway Bridge for a distance of approximately 30 metres. The reason for the said closure is to carry out a Bridge Inspection
The said road is expected to be closed between 21:00hrs on 09th December 2024 until 05:00hrs on 10th December 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Temporary Closure Of 400438 Ledbury Road Crescent
(Staunton Parish) Forest Of Dean District
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400438 Ledbury Road Crescent outside the property known as ‘No. 5 Ledbury Road Crescent’ for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for water apparatus repair works by Severn Trent.

(Longhope Parish) Forest Of Dean District
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 400161 The Slad from a point adjacent to the property known as ‘Walnut House’, for a distance of approximately 20 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.
The said road is expected to be closed and restricted from 9th December 2024 until

Temporary Closure Of 400096 Quabbs Road
(Drybrook Parish) Forest Of Dean District
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400096 Quabbs Road from its junction with Morse Lane in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 195 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for works to replace a telegraph pole.

(50 Mph Speed Limit) (A4136) (Parishes Of Longhope & Mitcheldean)(Forest Of Dean District) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to introduce the speed limit detailed in the schedule below.
Please note the existing 50mph speed limit between Longhope and Mitcheldean is being revoked and reproposed within this order, together with the new proposed extent of 50mph speed limit, to consolidate the whole 50mph speed limit on the A4136 into one Traffic Order.

The reason for the said closure is for works to install a carriageway chamber.

Temporary Closure Of Restricted Byway Fhe 27
(Hewelsfield & Brockweir Parish) Forest Of Dean District
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Restricted Byway FHE 27 from its junction with Mill Hill in a generally easterly direction for approximately 715 metres, shown on the Order Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B.
The closure is necessary to safeguard users while excavation and repair works are completed. The said Order will come into force on the 11th December 2024 and it is anticipated that the Restricted Byway will close on that day until 17th December 2024 or until the works have been completed.
