Hillsley Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Hillsley Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.164) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 3rd December 2024 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
HILLSLEY ROAD
From No. 115 Hillsley Road to the junction of Almondsbury Road.
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate electrical connection works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 3rd December 2024 to 06th December 2024 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between Tuesday - Friday 07:30 - 17:30.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Hillsley Road, Winterbourne Road, Almondsbury Road, Kingscote Road and Kingscote Road, Almondsbury Road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
