Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14(1) (Peterborough Road) Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic

1. The Council of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham hereby gives notice that in order to facilitate construction works in the above-named location; it made an Order the effect of which will temporarily prohibit traffic and introduce "at any time" waiting restrictions in a section of the above-named road.

2. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed: no person shall enter, stop, wait, or proceed in that section of the footway of Peterborough Road on the western side, from No. 14 to No. 16 Peterborough Road.

3. An alternative route for traffic in article 2 would be via the opposite eastern footway in Peterborough Road.

4. Whilst works are in progress, or whilst the authorised traffic signs are displayed: work related vehicles involved in the construction works as stated in article 1 shall be permitted to load and unload from and to said vehicle for the duration necessary within the designated closed area of the footway specified in article 2.

5. Exemptions will be provided in the Order to permit reasonable access to premises, so far as it is practical without interference with the execution of the said work and for works vehicles, any vehicle being used in connection with police, fire or ambulance purposes and anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform.

6. The Order will come into operation on the 26th November 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

7. Works will be expected to commence on Tuesday 26th November 2024 and last until 26th May 2026. The dates specified are for guidance and informative purposes only and works may extend outside these dates.
