PROPOSED ZEBRA CROSSING INSTALLATION - MARTIN WAY. MORDEN
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, Intend to Introduce a zebra crossing under powers conferred by section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in:-
MARTIN WAY, MORDEN, the centre point of which would be 18 metres west of the western kerb-line of Mostyn Road.
2. The pedestrian crossing would include a central island pedestrian refuge and the "controlled area" in which stopping, waiting and loading is prohibited at all times would apply on both the approach and exit sides of the crossing, with the zig-zag markings extending to a maximum of 20.5 metres on either side from the middle of the crossing.
3. A plan of the area showing the crossing can be inspected during normal office hours on Monday to Friday at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
4. Any person desiring to comment on the proposal should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof in writing to the Environment, Civic Pride and Climate Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/MARTIN no later than 6th December 2024.

THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (PEDAL CYCLES) (NO. *) ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above-mentioned Order.
2. The general effect of the 'Parking Places' Order would be to designate a parking place on the carriageway at the location specified in the Schedule to this Notice for the leaving of pedal cycles (including electric assisted pedal cycles) being used in a public hire scheme operated in accordance with an agreement with the Council.
3. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the lengths of road to which the Order relates can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
4. Any person desiring to make representations orto object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment, Civic Pride and Climate Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, SM4 5DX or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov. uk quoting the reference ES/STATION no later than 6 December 2024.

1. Further to the Notice issued on 24 October 2024 regarding the amendment of parking places to facilitate the introduction of crossovers, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton have extended the consultation period for the proposed above-mentioned Orders until 6 December 2024.
2. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
3. The general effect of the Orders would be to convert sections of existing parking places in lengths of road generally fronting the locations referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to single yellow line waiting restrictions matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone operating at each of those locations.
3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the roads or lengths of roads to which the Orders relate, can be inspected Mondays to Fridays during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
4. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment, Civic Pride and Climate Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov. uk quoting reference ES/CROSSOVER32 no later than 6 December 2024.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 13 November 2024, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the 'Electric Vehicle Charging Points' Order will be to: -
(a) designate parking places for electric vehicle charging at the locations listed in the Schedules to this notice;
(b) provide that the parking places will operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;
(c) specify that the parking place listed in Schedule 1 to this notice will be available for fully electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles only, for up to 12 hours, without charge, provided that any electric vehicle is connected via a charging lead to a lamp column upgraded to enable electric charging at all times while it is left in that parking place. Electric vehicles having left a parking place for electric vehicle charging will be able to return after 4 hours have elapsed;
(d) specify that the parking places in the controlled parking zones referred to in Schedule 2 to this notice will be available for fully electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles only, for up to 12 hours, provided that during controlled parking zone operational hours the applicable charge for the relevant controlled parking zone permit has been paid with respect to the vehicle and that any electric vehicle is connected via a charging lead to a lamp column upgraded to enable electric charging at all times while it is left in a parking place. Electric vehicles having left a parking place for electric vehicle charging will be able to return after 4 hours have elapsed;
(e) revoke the electric vehicle parking place in Parkwood Road at its junction with Woodside which will be replaced by the Parkwood Road electric vehicle parking place specified in Schedule 2 to this notice.
3. The general effect of the 'Parking Places Amendment' Orders will be to remove existing lengths of parking place in the lengths of road listed in Schedule 2 to this notice to accommodate the introduction of a parking place designated for electric vehicle charging.
4. A copy of each of the Orders, which will come into force on 25 November 2024, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the roads or lengths of road to which the Orders relate, can be inspected during normal office hours Mondays to Fridays, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
