What is happening?

ROYAL BOROUGH OF KINGSTON UPON THAMES

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULAION ACT 1984

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the following Order The Kingston upon Thames (Parking, Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 19841, as amended

2. The general effect of the Order would be to:-

(a) Introduce/extend waiting restrictions operating 'at any time' (double yellow lines) in:-

(i) on its north side and in the turning head Babbacombe Close, Chessington

(ii) opposite No. 3 California Road, New Malden

(iii) outside Nos 27 to 29 Coppard Gardens, Chessington

(iv) adjacent to Nos. 87 and 89 Tolworth Road in Kent Way, Surbiton

(v) adjacent No. 119 Southwood Drive in Knollmead, Surbiton

(vi) adjacent No. 31 Northweald Lane, Kingston

(vii) outside Nos 1 to 8 and 9 to 16 Rodney Close, New Malden

(viii) outside Nos 97 to 103 South Lane, New Malden

(b) convert the existing waiting restrictions (single yellow lines) to (double yellow lines) waiting restrictions operating 'at any time' in:-

(i) The Manor Drive, Worcester Park at its junction with Downfield Road, Worcester Park

(ii) outside Nos. 47 to 53 Grove Road, Surbiton

(iii) outside No. 80 Maple Road, Surbiton

3. Copies of the proposed Order, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order and plans showing the location and the effect of the proposal may be inspected as follows:-

(a) online at https://www.kingston.gov.uk/tmos-open-statutory-consultation; selecting reference MapKing0100 Parking Batch - Various Locations

(b) Council libraries; and

(c) copies of the Order and plans can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday); or

(d) by emailing tmo@kingston.gov.uk (please quote ref MapKing0100).
