NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE A STOPPING UP ORDER SECTION 247 TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A RE-ADVERTISEMENT OF THE NOTICE OF INTENTION ADVERTISED ON 31 OCTOBER 2024. THE DEADLINE FOR ANY OBJECTIONS TO BE MADE IS 13 DECEMBER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the London Borough of Barnet (the "Council") acting in its capacity as local highway authority proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended) authorising the stopping up of highway at/adjacent Grahame Park Estate PLOTS H-K NW9 shown hatched with bold black diagonal lines on Drawing No. JNY11740-RPS-0100-007 RevC to enable the development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act.

IF THE PROPOSED ORDER IS MADE, the stopping up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act on 31 July 2020 under reference number 20/3564/OUT and the stopping up will only be authorised in respect of any part of the highway required to enable the development to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted.

COPIES OF THE DRAFT ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED free of charge between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday at the Planning Reception and Public Library at Hendon Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon NW4 4BQ. Copies may also be requested via email to barnet.transport@barnet.gov.uk or on 020-8359-3555. A copy of the Draft Order and relevant plan may be posted. A copy may also be viewed at www.barnet.gov.uk/notices.

ANY OBJECTIONS to the making of the proposed Order must be made in writing within 28 days of the commencement on 14 November 2024 to Network Changes, Highways Planning Development Control (Major Projects), 7th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW or via email to barnet.transport@barnet.gov.uk.

The Council may disclose the objection(s) and contact details of the objectors to other persons affected by the proposed order as part of the objection consideration process.

In preparing an objection, it should be noted that your personal data will be stored and used by the Council in line with its obligations under the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation.

If no objections are received within the stipulated period or if objections are withdrawn, the Council may make the Order as proposed. If objections are made and not withdrawn, the Mayor of London may hold an inquiry before making a decision.

This NOTICE is given by virtue of Section 252 of the above Act.
