Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53, and Parts IV and III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the orders:
- IMPLEMENT: ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Restrictions on the following lengths of road.
Road: B1053 Radwinter Road, Saffron Walden
- IMPLEMENT: No Stopping at Any Time Except Buses
- To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Uttlesford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
- A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
Description
:NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 10 metres east of the access road to Lidl supermarket west for approximately 33 metres.
SOUTH SIDE:
(i) From a point approximately 39 metres west of the access road to Lidl supermarket, east for approximately 39 metres.
(ii) From a point approximately 10 metres east of the access road to Lidl Supermarket, west for approximately 10 metres.
(iii) From a point approximately 116 metres west of the access road to Lidl supermarket west for approximately 21 metres.

WEST SIDE: From its junction with Radwinter Road south for approximately 111 metres.
EAST SIDE:
(i) From its junction with Radwinter Road south for approximately 103 metres.
(ii) From a point approximately 109 metres south of the junction with Radwinter Road south for approximately 46 metres.
Road: B1053 Radwinter Road, Saffron Walden
Description:
NORTH SIDE: From a point approximately 3 metres South of property No.’s 55 and house 57 Boundary for approximately 19 metres, West.
This Order will be incorporated into ‘The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019’ by substituting tiles TL545 382 and TL545 385 Revision 1 to Revision 2.

(Clatterbury Lane, Clavering)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Clatterbury Lane, Clavering in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 100m north east of its junction with The Druce for a distance of approximately 95m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th December 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30042916077 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via High Street, London Road, Cambridge Road, London Road, Cambridge Road, Silver Street, Pines Hill, Stansted Road, Birchanger Roundabout, Bishops Stortford Bypass, Hadham Road, Little Hadham Bypass, Standon Road, Stortford Road, Kents Lane, Standon Hill, A10 – A120 Roundabout, A10 Puckeridge Bypass, A10 – B1368 Roundabout, A10 Puckeridge To Buntingford, A10 Buntingford Bypass Roundabout At London Road, Buntingford Bypass, Baldock Road, High Street, Hare Street Road, B1038 between Access Road To Alswicks Hall Farm And Junction With B1368, B1368 North From Junc With Hare Street Road To Biggin Hill and vice versa (with access only into B1038 From Its Junction With Biggin Hill To Andersons Lane, Conduit Lane, Pump Hill, Pelham Road, Middle Street, High Street (Clavering), Clatterbury Lane and Wicken Road).
The Order will come into effect on 21st November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pepples Lane, Wimbish)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pepples Lane, Wimbish in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Thaxted Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th December 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04140245156 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe laying works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
No alternative route is available.
The Order will come into effect on 21st November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Uttlesford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.12) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
"The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 21st November 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Browns End Road, Broxted)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Browns End Road, Broxted in the District of Uttlesford, from a point approximately 455m south east of its junction with Brick End for a distance of approximately 430m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th November 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFGCW25H – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Browns End Road, Water Lane, Muscombs Lane, Maltings Bridge Lane, Moor End Lane, Church End, Brick End, Browns End Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dark Lane & Lodge Road, Henham)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dark Lane & Lodge Road, Henham in the District of Uttlesford, from the junction with Old Mead Road for a distance of approximately 1480m in a north easterly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 26th November 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WFGC54T & BC411SA001WFGC57X – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Old Mead Road, North Hall Road, Dark Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Dorvis Lane, Ashdon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dorvis Lane, Ashdon in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Church Hill for a distance of approximately 170m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 28th November 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA14ORFSI1795576 – Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while blockage clearance works are undertaken by Gigaclear.
No alternative route is available.

(Duck Street, Wendens Ambo) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
- To temporarily close that length of Duck Street, Wendens Ambo in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Royston Road to its junction with Rookery Lane a distance of approximately 450m.
- To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in the above length of road for the duration of above closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Uttlesford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure and restriction are scheduled to commence on 25th November 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365886 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure and restriction are required for the safety of the public and workforce while full CCTV investigation and gully clearing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Rookery Lane, Cambridge Road, London Road, Mutlow Hill, London Road, Station Road, Royston Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Woodside Way, Great Dunmow) (Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Woodside Way, Great Dunmow in the District of Uttlesford, from its junction with Brookfield Farm Way for a distance of approximately 1480m in both directions. The speed restriction is scheduled to commence on 13th November 2024 for 106 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX047WOODSIDEWAY – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The speed restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water mains works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
The Order came into effect on 13th November 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
