What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(A638 GREAT NORTH ROAD AND HOLDS LANE, TORWORTH)
(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024 (1307)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, Traffic Management Act 2004, as amended, and The Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (County of Nottinghamshire) Designation Order 2008 (SI 2008 No. 1086), as amended, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Torworth in the District of Bassetlaw: -
Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time along the following lengths of road:-
a638 Great North Road, Torworth (the east side)
From a point 10 metres north of its junction with Holds Lane in a southerly direction to a point 10 metres south of that junction.
Holds Lane, Torworth (both sides)
From its junction with A638 Great North Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 20 metres.

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 18TH NOVEMBER 2024.
The restrictions have been introduced to deal with inconsiderate parking at these junctions.
